Join the team as we embark on our expedition to trek to the summit of Mt Fuji in Japan , one of the most iconic mountains in the world!

By using the traditional route to the top of this beautiful mountain we reach the summit after sunrise with amazing views. After your climb we relax before heading off to the famous city of Kyoto and Nara for Temples and tame deer . Enjoy tasting the amazing cuisine and staying in the Japanese style inns renowned for their hospitality.

Itineary:

Day 1: Fly from UK on group flight

Day 2: Arrive Tokyo, check in to Your Hotel in the Fun Asakuza district of Tokyo.

Day 3: Time to explore Tokyo with a guide - overnight hotel

Day 4: Depart by train to the Mt Fuji area, overnight getting ready for the ascent. Full trek brief given.

Day 5: We start the Mt Fuji trek on the Old Yoshida route walking through forests and shrines to reach our mountain hut for the night high on Mt Fuji.

Day 6: After an early start we trek up to the Summit of Mt Fuji for amazing views with the rising sun from the East and peer inside the Mt Fuji crater.We then descend back to the Fuji area where our nice hotel awaits us , relax.

Day 7: Depart by Bullet train to the famous city of Kyoto to see the traditional Japan. Guided. Japanese Ryokan hotel, amazing food experience , and hot water spa.

Day 8: We head to Nara to see amazing temples and giant Budhas , all the time surrounded by tame deer that for centuries have learnt to bow back to you! Guided tour . not to be missed.

Day 9: Depart by express train to Tokyo, celebration meal.

Day 10: After breakfast, gift shopping.- head to airport for late flight. -
